For those who love unspoiled nature and traditional places where globalization and influences of the modern world are well kept secrets.

1st day: NOVO MESTO - OTOČEC
After arrival sightseeing of Novo mesto (Main Squarenwith interesting archways, Chapter Church, Dolenjski Museum). Visit to Castle Otočec and an audience with the "count" or "countess" of Otočec. Dinner.

2nd day: BELA KRAJINA
After breakfast we will go to Bela krajina. Our first stop will be in Rožanec, at the Mithraum - ancient shrine to the Persian god Mithras, whose image is carved in stone. From Rožanec drive through Črnomelj and short stop in Pusti gradac. See the old water mill and sawmill, then ride with traditional carriage to nearby village Veliki Nerajec. People from the village will show us a 200 year-old house and offer us home made specialty - buckwheat rolled cake. We'll continue to the most southern point of Slovenia, to Vinica and afterwards to Žuniči. See the Šokčev dvor, traditional farm house with interesting architecture, which can be found only in this region. Return to hotel, dinner and accommodation.

3rd day: PLETERJE - KOSTANJEVICA NA KRKI - BREŽICE - BIZELJSKO
Breakfast and drive to Šentjernej. See the part of the Cistercian monastery Pleterje and multivision and stop in nearby open-air museum, were the traditional 200 years old farm is presented. Continue to Kostanjevica, which is one of the smallest towns in Slovenia. See the Kostanjevica Cave and drive to Brežice, where we'll visit the Posavski museum in the castle. Our last stop will be in winegrowing region of Bizeljsko, where we'll have a short wine tasting in repnica - a cave, dug in the flint-stone. Return to hotel and dinner.

4th day: VRŠIČ, SOČA VALLEY - TOLMINSKA KORITA - LUCIJA SHIP
After breakfast we'll leave to Gorenjska, through well-known winter resort Kranjska Gora to one of the highest mountain passes in Slovenia - Vršič. Short stop for enjoying the breathtaking views. We'll continue to the River Soča valley and see the Trentarski Museum, which is the centre of the Triglav National Park. All the time we'll drive along with River Soča, which is considered to be the cleanest European river. Next stop will be in Kobarid, where we’ll se the museum, which has ranked among the finalists for the European museum of the year award. Drive to Tolmin and see an interesting karstic phenomenon, so called Tolminska korita. At the end of the tour we'll cruise on artificial lake on board of Lucija ship. Return to hotel and dinner.

5th day: KRKA VALLEY - THE CASTLES VALLEY
Breakfast and drive to Stična, where we'll visit the largest Cistercian monastery in Slovenia. A part of the monastery is the Slovene religion Museum, which we'll see. Drive to the source of Krka River and then we'll take away along with the river to Žužemberk. We’ll see the ruins of the castle and cascades, which are main natural curiosity in the surroundings. Next stop will be in Soteska, where we'll se another castle, an exhibition of Technical museum of Slovenia. Before departure to hotel we'll visit the interesting pavilion Hudičev turn. Dinner in hotel.

6th day: LAKE CERKNICA - CASTLE SNEŽNIK - NOVA ŠTIFTA - RIBNICA
Today we’ll visit interesting region Notranjska, which literally means Inner world in Slovenian language. Here the best and largest karstic phenomenon can be seen. We'll se disappearing Lake Cerknica which activities we'll learn with a help of an interesting "live" replica. We'll continue to Castle Sne`nik that is still furnished with original furniture from 18th century. On our way to Ribnica we’ll stop in Nova Štifta for a while and we'll see the pilgrimage Romanesque church. Ribnica is the centre of woodman craft in Slovenia, that’s why we'll visit the local museum where some interesting facts and exhibitions will be presented to us. Return to hotel and dinner.

7th day: IDRIJA - BOLNIŠNICA FRANJA - ŠKOFJA LOKA
Breakfast and drive to Idrija. See the part of former mercury ore mine and museum in the castle Gewerkeneg. Continue to Cerkno and see the partisan hospital Franja, which has an important role during the WWII. Return through Škofja Loka and short stop. Dinner in hotel.

8th day: EUROPEAN SLEEPING BEAUTY
Breakfast and drive to Mokronog. See the pilgrimage church Sad Mother og God, which has an interesting, so called sacred stairways painted with baroque frescoes. Short tasting of goat cheese and drive to Šentrupert where we'll se one of the most beautiful gothic churches in Slovenia. Next church that we’ll see on our route will be Vesela Gora. In Mirna we'll stop to visit the castle and at the end we’ll see the Gallery of Naive Art in Trebnje. The collection is one of the largest and more important collections of naive art in the world. Return to hotel and dinner.

9th day: LJUBLJANA - DEPARTURE
Breakfast and walk through the medieval part of Slovenian capital Ljubljana. Departure.
