In the heart of the village of Ledine
on a high plateau above the Idrijca Valley lies the Pr' Jureč
Tourist Farm, where you can learn firsthand about traditional
farm work and customs. The six-member family surprises their
guests with a still-functional collection of more than three
hundred old farm tools and implements whose use they demonstrate
in theme workshops. Particularly interesting are the "Soil
to Wheat to Bread" program and the "Flax to Thread
to Lace" program. They also grow their own food for guests.

The Gostilna Pri Škafarju restaurant
takes its name from the legendary wooden bucket maker who
discovered mercury in Idrija over five hundred years ago.
Along with dishes a la carte, hot lunches, and pizzas from
baker's oven, you can treat yourself to unique Idrija specialties.
Žlikrofi (a type of potato ravioli) are served with bakalca
(a meat sauce), roast meat dishes, goulash, meat gravy, or
gorgonzola. In summer, smukavc and zeljševka (potica with
herb filling) can be ordered in advance. The old miner's drink
geruš is a recommended treat to accompany meals.
