Kostel Castle

The great walls of the Kostel castle perch dramatically above the river Kolpa. Outside the walls is a 16th century chapel and a manor house dated 1809, the year in which Kostel was destroyed by Napoleonic troops. Folk melodies and music of the Kostel region may be heard in the repertoire of Prifarski Muzikanti and other folklore groups.
