Horseback ride from
Češča vas to the wooden bridge spanning the Krka River, through the
forests past Rožni dol to Smuk and descent among the vineyards to Semič.
This trail is
included in the HTN 16 package.

At the equestrian
centre in Češča vas we will turn towards the Krka River and ride
through the fields to Lok. We will arrive at an asphalt trail and
cross the wooden bridge spanning the Krka River. We will cross the
Novo mesto-Vavta vas local road. At Volavče we will turn onto the
trail leading towards Vrh pri Ljubno. After a bit less than a
kilometre on the asphalt trail, we will turn and ride through the
fields and forests to Ušivec, cross the railroad tracks and ride to
Birčna vas. Here we can rest and then turn left onto the macadam trail
to Padež. At the Padež hunting lodge, we will turn righ brt
towards Radoha and Pribišje. Then we will turn right at Rožni Dol,
where we can take aeak
and rest the horses, after which we will ride towards Prelog and Smuk
and descend among the vineyards to Semič.
