Trail length: 26.7 km.
From Miklavž we will ride along the Gorjanci grasslands to Opatova
mountain, descend to Javorovica and Pleterje, and ride through the
Šentjernej plain to the Krka River, Bela Cerkev and Družinska vas.
This trail is
included in the package HTN 16.

From Miklavž we can
collect energy and then move onwards along the trail to the remnants
of the Gorjanci Lake. Here we will turn left and ascend to the Ravna
gora crest along the macadam trail. Scenic views of Bela Krajina and
the Šentjernej plain open up along the way. Afterwards, we will ride
along the state border to the Japetova grasslands where we will begin
our descent towards Javorovica. We can either take a break here
overnight or continue our trip to the Carthusian Pleterje and the
Pleterje outdoor museum. After the visit, we will ride among the
vineyards descending to Sel pri Šentjerneju and then ride through the
Šentjernej plain to the Krka River and Družinska vas.
