Trail length: 52.6 km.
From Hrastno, we will ride past
Draga to the headwaters of the Mirna River from where we will ascend to
the church in Čatež. From here, we will ride to the birth house of the
Slovenian missionary Baraga in Knežja vas and along the European walking
trail to Žužemberk Castle.
This trail is
included in the package HTN 16.

From Hrastno we will
ride to Nebesa where a scenic view of the surroundings is located.
Then we will descend to the Bistrica valley. We will turn left at the
mill into the hill and ascend to the Church of St. Agnes and then
continue along the Mirna hills to Gornje Ravne. Here we can rest and
then ascend to the Church of St. Michael at Čatež and church in Zaplaz.
Then we will ride via Šentlovrenc and Pluska to the Jurjeva Homestead and
Baraga birth house, continuing onwards towards Sadinja vas. Here we
will turn onto a field trail which will take us past Naral’s Cross and
bring us to Žužemberk.
